Our Children's Ministry provides a nurturing Christ-centered environment in which children feel loved and valued as children of God.

Chestnut Grove Children's Ministry welcomes and loves each child. If your child has special needs, we would like you to feel welcomed and know that we treat each child as one who is uniquely and wonderfully created in the image of God.

We are intentional about our selection of Bible based curriculum for our ministry to our children. We understand the importance of a child's early years, and we support families by planning learning and growing experiences for children each time they are at our church.

Also, in our Weekday Preschool, we provide a healthy, stimulating environment where kids learn about themselves, the world around them, and God's love.

During each morning worship service, we have a children's message that provides a special age appropriate opportunity to meet with God. After the 11:00 am children's message, we have a children's church.

Each June, we offer a morning Vacation Bible School for one week for ages 3 through grade 6. Children in the community are invited to experience Bible stories, crafts, music, and recreation.

The children learn about people and places where God's work is being done. They are encouraged to take part in mission projects. Mission groups: GA's, RA's, and Mission Friends meet during each month and the kids learn about missionaries and are challenged to spread the gospel in their own lives.

Children's Ministers
Most of the adults who work with the children are volunteers. All of them have a deep appreciation and love for children. Some are teachers in schools, some are parents or grandparents of children, and all of them are devoted Christians.
